Our 4 month old: Edie Jean by Liz Stanley of Say Yes

This Our 4 month old: Edie Jean post is by Liz Stanley of Say Yes.

4 months ago we were blessed with this beautiful little girl joining our family and it’s been a roller coaster ride ever since she arrived. For a while there the first few months there was a lot of colic and frustration (for us and baby!), but things are really starting to settle down now and it’s fun to see her personality emerge.

At 4 months, this is the stage when things really start to get exciting. Colic has mostly ended, they’re learning to use their hands, they respond with giggles and smiles, they start to recognize their family members, they enjoy their first bit of food, and start sleeping longer stretches during the night (Edie’s still working on those last two actually).

Since she just learning to use her hands, toys are starting to be introduced and she gets so excited when we pull them out! I’ve had fun picking out toys that are both fun for her and aren’t complete eye sores for the rest of us. Here are some of our favorite toys from Melissa and Doug for Edie’s age, which are your favorite?
