Essential Packing Tips for Traveling with Kids

traveling with kids resources This summer, we are “hitting the road” – and providing you with some fantastic traveling resources along the way! Every Thursday, right here on our blog, we’ll give you the inside scoop from three top-rated blogger moms on their favorite tips and tricks for traveling with kids. This week, we’re getting some tips from Tiffany (Peanut Blossom) as she prepares to hotel-hop down the East Coast!

In her blog post (which you can view in its entirety here), Tiffany shares some crucial packing tips for parents feeling overwhelmed by an impending getaway.

Her key to success? Organization. From digging through piles of clothes in hotel rooms, to locating toys easily when on the go, Tiffany understands how crucial it is to have certain items easily accessible for those “need it now” moments.

Tiffany’s advice? Make life easier with a quick, grab-able bag for kids to make a quick stopover in a hotel manageable (or to have just in case checked baggage gets lost.) Here are a few of the essential Tiffany suggests you pack for this handy-dandy bag:

- An extra set of pajamas

- A diaper, just in case you need a quick-change

- One or two small activity books or toys to grab quickly when on the go (Tiffany tucked away our On the Go Activity Books.)

- A kid’s flashlight (helps the little ones when they are in a new place.)

- And more. (See Tiffany’s full list here.)

  2. So glad we packed extra jammies when BOTH girls got sick last vaca, otherwise they’d be wearing MY clothes!! =D
