How do you practice memorization skills with your child? As your child gets older, their memory will be a fundamental part of how they achieve success in school: They will start to recognize patterns, remember key facts, and start to problem-solve. A memory game is the perfect way to practice these skills in a fun, inviting way. To help your child be even more engaged in the game, have them create their own cards using this “Make-Your-Own-Memory” Printable!

If your child is old enough, sneak in some fine motor skills practice and ask them to cut along the dotted lines using child safe scissors.
Then, separate each square, flip them over, and let the game of memory begin!
