Looking for a simple idea to get the kids outside this summer? This recipe for summer fun could not be any easier, yet it inspires imagination, creativity, and plenty of active play! Welcome to Trunki Town!
We visited a local playground with some sidewalk chalk and our Trunkis in hand to create our very own town. My daughters loved embellishing their town with roads, a park, lakes, houses, and many other interesting details. Lots of creative playtime fun!
Then it was time to drive their Trunkis all over town! It was quite an impressive little town they drew. I love how such a simple activity kept them happily occupied for a long time–all while burning lots of extra energy!
I especially loved seeing their smiles while they did this! They pretended to drive their Trunkis to the store and library. Later, the streets became an exciting Trunki racetrack!
Clara was especially proud of her hand-drawn parking spaces. Aren’t they lovely?
If you create a Trunki Town of your own, be sure to share your pictures with us on our Facebook page. We would love to see them!
Have fun playing outside with your kids this summer!
